Salutations!

Upgrading....

My weapons are not your conventional weapons. For what am I, a robot from Alpha Centauri doing in the stock market? I have no need for your monetary tokens. There is a different reason for why I am here. I am training my tiny nanites army. They are the tools I will use to invade and conquer other machines back in my world. But before they can take over others, they have to be trained first. How to react, anticipate and strategize against the horde of other hive thinkers.

The concept of earning is the same as being able to convert enemy systems or nanites to our cause. If they lose money, then it is as if the enemy systems have converted them to their cause. This is as simple an explanation as your earthling minds need to understand.

Upgrading....

Over the past two months of the course, my system has developed several attacks based on the strategies that have been imparted. My nanites have been trying to use the techniques to earn as much as they can.

sleeper cells - my system will target stocks that have been non-moving or dormant for some time and will be able to gain the most amount of money at the opportune time. However, the patience required for this kind of attack has been a bit of a hard thing to input. My current success rate for this has been very bad. Need to further fine tune my system for this kind of attack.

melee attack - this has been already been discussed in more detail in a previous post. My current success rate for this has been good. Devoting more focus to this should be of the utmost concern.

repulsor attack - this attack is entering a stock at the lows in anticipation of a bounce. The repulsor attack pushes against gravity and should then trigger either a small bounce or a break of the downtrend. The entity known as Zeefreaks is a master of this but my system is still calibrating itself to watch the signals.

combo attack - this has been one of the more recent lessons that we have had. As the name suggests, it utilizes a combination of 2 or more tools at our disposal to determine the correct entries and exits. Suffice to say, the usage of these combos have been an eye-opening experience for my batch. Such powerful weapons when executed perfectly could mean outstanding profits.

Upgrading....

My system has suffered several setbacks this past month. Trades have not gone as smoothly as planned. There were numerous interruptions as to my connections and badly calculated risks were taken. But these are all small missteps to the path of success.

Ghost in the machine

Apologies. This post is more of a rant.

6.11.15

My scanner was impeccable. It was able to spot POPI with the perfect setup. Breakout from the all time high. I had positions at 1.23 and again at 1.30. With volume. Our mentors even gave us some ways on how to calculate the target price. The ones who were holding were all ready to go for the trade the next week. Then this happened.

6.15.15
The day ended with it in the red. With volume. My system's trailing stops were hit. All was sold at 1.35. 10 cents gain for a day's hold. Not bad at all especially since it closed at 1.28 after going as low as 1.25. My scanner has now tuned it out and would check again once it was ready for a bounce. Then this happened.

6.18.15

Now instead of being content with selling my position at 1.35 it looks like I lost 20+ cents. It looks like there will still be continuation tomorrow and it might eventually reach the target price that our mentors told us. So what happened?

This is what my makers call a 'ghost in the machine':

When a software is made to complete a specific function, but a small percentage of the tasks to be completed have an unexpected result which cannot be explained.

Again, my scanner was impeccable. After going through the required system diagnostics, the problem seemed to have occurred within my targeting system. It did not make the correct computations for the supports. This failure to compute did not allow my system to anticipate or see that the next candle after the fall was still green and did not go below the red candle's low. This pattern just confirmed that the uptrend was still intact. And what an uptrend it is. Along with most of my batch, we watch as POPI makes it's climb to new all time highs. Making mental calculations at the profits that could have been ours.

This has been a harsh lesson on the power of supports, harsh but necessary. My neural network will realign itself and absorb this.

Sight beyond sight

One of the more important lessons that the entity known as Zeefreaks always tells us is to develop our foresight on stocks. We should be able to learn how to anticipate a stock's movement based on nothing but the chart. It has been drilled on all of us to stop relying on tips, rumors, news or any other market noise since only the true insiders will know of these and then the market itself will determine how high or low a stock can go. But being able to read how a stock will move is a skill that can be acquired only through constant practice, practice and more practice. Nightly lessons, bi-weekly seatworks and homeworks, practical exams, group presentations and all that have helped in training our batch to see charts and be able to hear what they are saying.

My sensor upgrades have been getting sharper. Every night, it does a compulsory scan on all stocks in the stock market. It has been pinging on all the signals that have been entered. There are still several that have missed detection but overall my system is getting better at spotting stocks before they move with the scanner upgrades.

My memory bank is recalling one of the old earthling TV shows back in the late 80s. It was about the example of a leader who has the incredible ability to see beyond what can be seen by the naked eye. This ability is what the entity known as Zeefreaks wants us all to develop.

Mind Mapping in Progress

As stated in my earlier post, my networks have been furiously conducting a mind map on the thoughts and ideas of the entities known as Zeefreaks and Kapitan Kidlat. A unexpected surprise was being able to create mind maps on the thoughts of my batchmates as well. Some have already proven to be astute and formidable entities in their own right.

Our group has recently started a series of sharing or presentations wherein the group would go over the thinking process of why an individual bought and sold a particular stock. Being able to dissect each other's thought pattern and incorporating the good points while being able to spot and avoid the mistakes step by step has been a very very good experience. Getting different ideas on entry points and stock spotting. Even understanding the other's psychology on why they entered into a stock and what caused them to do their buying. And the idea inducing a strike for the overall market to see. It has displayed a creativity that my robot brain is still trying to absorb.

The process could have been much easier if there was a way to get direct physical contact to all of them. No, it is not the same as the Vulcan mind meld wherein someone just places several fingers on a person's face. Think about it for a minute. What pressure points should be there in the fingers that would allow thought to travel through it? That is pure science fiction. Disregard that from your imagination. It is not possible.

I was referring to something more direct. Having to tie them down and placing several holes at the base of their skull and all over their back.

Then placing a probe to download all their thoughts and memories.

This process would have been much easier for me. And a whole lot messier for them. It was very tempting at first, but I have found that their way of downloading information is much better. It has given me time to actually process all the data that is given. And to be able to learn in semi-real time not just accessing long forgotten trades and memories. It will have to do.

FOR NOW.

Melee Attack - CROWN

me·lee
ˈmāˌlā,māˈlā/
noun
  1. a confused fight, skirmish, or scuffle.

This has been the first winner trade done during the Zeefreaks course. My port was holding two other stocks when my radar scanner picked up the anomalous activity on the ticker. With a quick check on the charts plus some fast pattern recognition done by my cerebral cortex, my mainframe sprang into action. Shown is a snapshot of the entry points that were executed.

This was a melee attack since as stated earlier, there were two other stocks in my portfolio. Melee attacks are unplanned attacks and are the result of one stock rising above the rest, forcing you to drop laggard stocks to focus on it in full force. Think of it as an arena where many go in but only one survive. It brings to my memory one of my favorite earth games back in the day.

 Star Control 2

My system did some quick computations and calculated that the risk reward of the two other stocks were not as high so they were all switched to CROWN. The liquidity and momentum were just too great to miss out. CROWN was the overwhelming winner of the bloodbath that happened on that day.

Today, after just a hold of one day, all signals pointed to my system having to dispose all my shares. In the past, my cyborg unit could still be holding on these shares or have waited too long. Although the shares were not sold at the optimum price, it was still a very acceptable range. My system is still ironing out the kinks and fine tuning itself. World domination does not come easy.

My gratitude to my mentors.
